FP McCann received two awards at the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Awards 2016.

The awards ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, 13th April in Manchester, recognises the UK’s top-performing registered sites that have demonstrated the highest level of considerate construction towards the public, the workforce and the environment in which they operate.

A total of 8992 registered sites were eligible to be considered for this year’s awards.

For the first time, ‘value bands’ have been introduced to enable sites to be assessed based on their project value. The value bands are as follows:
·         Less than £500k
·         £500k to <£5m
·         £5m to <£10m
·         £10m and over

Within each banding, the scheme presents Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards, with the highest performing of all eligible sites classed as the ‘Most considerate Site’ and ‘Most Considerate Site Runner Up’.

This year, a total of 430 Bronze Awards (i.e. top 10%), 293 Silver Awards (i.e. top 5%), 173 Gold Awards (i.e. top 2%), 33 Most Considerate Site Runner-up Awards (i.e. top 0.41%) and 4 Most Considerate Site Awards were given out.

FP McCann was delighted to be awarded the following:

MOST CONSIDERATE SITE RUNNER UP (upgraded from Gold)

-       Comber Public Realm (£500k to <£5m category)

BRONZE

-       Newtownards Public Realm (£5m to <£10m category)

These are tremendous achievements for the company. The public realm teams invested a lot of time and effort into making these awards happen. Sincere thanks to all involved.
